I know that our Savior lives. He has a love for us that I don’t think we can fully comprehend until we see Him again one day. He is always with us. I know that we have family members on the other side that run to our aid. I know we can have a relationship with our Savior through prayer and studying the scriptures. The spirit comes into our lives when we do these things and it enlightens our minds with knowledge and love.
We learn more of who He is and feel closer to Him when we work on our relationship with Him. It’s no different than nurturing our relationships with loved ones. We have to put in time and effort. I know He is real and will reveal more to us of our true nature and His true nature the closer we get to Him.
I know we all have a divine role and purpose on this earth. And I know it’s our job and opportunity to figure out our mission and what’s in store for us. I know that difficult times can help us grow and learn and progress if we accept those trials graciously and with gratitude. I know a grateful heart is a happy heart , and we can find gratitude when we are consistently paying attention to all the blessings He has given us. It’s easier to notice our blessings when we are consistently living true to our beliefs and working on our relationship with our Lord and Savior.
I know trials can sometimes fill our souls with despair and sadness , and we wonder if He is there. I KNOW he is there. And it’s in those times when we should be really looking and noticing for how He is there helping us. That’s when we need to stay close, not push Him away. We have to go through pain to know good and happiness. It is a time of growth. Growth is hard and uncomfortable but we come out better for it in the end. It brings us closer to our Savior, builds our faith, and helps us to know how to help others . I know this Church is the truest of all churches that exist. We have the fullness of truth. The people aren’t perfect , but His gospel is. I love my Savior with my whole being. I love this Church. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
