Jesus traveled to Jerusalem, passing through Samaria and Galilee. Ten lepers approached the Master as He entered a certain village.
“Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” they cried out.
“Go and show yourselves to the priests,” said Jesus compassionately.
As the lepers turned to obey, they were healed of their leprosy. One of the ten turned back to the Savior, praising God. He fell at the Master’s feet, thanking him for the miracle. This leper was a Samaritan.
“Weren’t there ten lepers who were healed?” asked Jesus. “Where are the other nine?”
“None of them have come to give glory to God, except this stranger,” replied the man, referring to his nationality.
“Stand, and go your way. Your faith has healed you,” said the Savior.
